Motivating Budding Enterpreneurs

A training program took place on June 27, 2024.The food and grocery production training program for women entrepreneurs was a comprehensive initiative that covered various aspects of food processing, packaging, and marketing. Participants learned about food safety, quality control and marketing techniques, enabling them to create high quality products that meet market demands. The training also focused marketing strategies including packing, labelling and pricing to help women entrepreneurs effectively promote and sell their products. Additionally, participants gained knowledge on how to identify target markets, develop marketing plans leverage social media and online platforms to expand their customer base. Through interactive sessions women entrepreneurs developed skills and confidence to launch and grow their food and grocery businesses. By empowering women entrepreneurs with food and grocery production marketing skills, the program contributed to their economic empowerment, business success, and improved livelihoods. They learnt increased knowledge and understanding of food production and marketing principles as well as improved ability to compete in the market. Participants appreciated the interactive sessions and supportive networking opportunities which fostered a sense of community and collaboration. Some participants even stated selling their products during the training, demonstrating the programs immediate impact. They are motivated to start food and grocery production.
